To preserve the detail of the image it is advisable to adhere any rice paper to a light coloured surface. Tips :- Any folds in the paper will disappear when you decoupage it onto your project. Use mod podge or similar, paint glue onto surface of project and lightly spray back of paper with water this will make it easier to get straight. It is a lot stronger than tissue so you can move it around better. Work in strips don’t try and glue it all down at once. Use a screwed up plastic bag or cling film to smooth over the surface as you go, this helps to get any air bubbles out.
